Longing to meet on a long road
Long have I waited for thee
When will this long wait be over
For long nights that I have spent
From which I want to be free..
I know you are here nearby
But you haven’t caught my eye
I know you are waiting for me too
But I don’t know how to say “hi”.
Will that time be good
When my dream
Of meeting you would come true
Or will that moment be worth the sigh
When finally I would say
At last the wait paid off
And I am at rest with you in my sight.
Let’s see if you would change the words here
Or add more thoughts to it
For it is just my imagination
That I have enjoyed so far
Who knows what the future does to it
And here I am
